Surveillance
What is your spouse or partner
really doing when they're late for dinners at home, out late with their
"friends" or providing you with answers that make you uncomfortable?
What are your teens really doing and who are they meeting when they're
out with the family car? What's going on at home when you're away on
business? Let us "fill in the blanks" for you. When you are dealing
with rumors, anonymous tips, or uncooperative associates, friends, or
family members we are the ones that will provide you with the
“real” truth. Our veteran surveillance specialists "low-profile"
vehicles and long-range video equipment give our investigators the edge
on the subject in every surveillance situation. Our
specialists remain concealed and blend into any surveillance
environment. Professional surveillance presents an undeniable picture
of the subject's activities - a powerful bargaining tool that can save
you time, money, and frustration. Upon completion of the surveillance,
our client support continues. Upon request, you will also receive
a detailed written report - a chronological narrative describing
the subject's complete activities. The report also includes
copies of the video obtained, in your choice of VHS, .mpeg, or .wmv
formats. We can also make recommendations on the strategic use of
evidence and provide professional testimony when required.
What makes a surveillance sucessful?
How
and when surveillance is requested can help lead to positive
surveillance results. The main advantage an investigator has on his
side is the “element of surprise”. In other words the claimant/subject
has no idea what day or time they may be under surveillance. Requesting
surveillance on or near the day of a deposition or doctors appointment
can show a contrast on videotape after an individual has been deposed;
however, they also have the case on their mind and could be on the
lookout for investigators. We find that we have a 99% video success
rate on 2 and 3 day surveillance assignments. The first day our
investigators will use to determine the individual’s pattern or
schedule. The second and or third day is used to do surveillance when
the individual is most likely to be active (or out in the open), or the
opportunity to obtain video results is greatest. For example: if your
claimant/subject has a 9-5 / 5 day a week indoor work schedule where
there is a low rate of video opportunity( indoor video at
work will be attempted), surveillance might be initiated on an
evening (leaving work) and or a weekend. A great investigator can help
yield positive surveillance results; however, how surveillance is used
as a tool by our clients (who you order surveillance on and when) is
just as important.
Difficult/Complex Surveillance Assignments
Our
investigators have experience in doing surveillance on
subjects/claimants who are aware that they are under or have been
under surveillance before (perhaps having caught another investigator),
have been coached by their plaintiff’s attorney and/or are experienced
in the claims process and/or have a knowledge of how surveillance is
done. We have experience in doing surveillance on individuals such as:
Police Officers, Undercover Detectives, State Troopers, Private
Investigators, Judges and Attorneys. These assignments require a
mandatory two-man surveillance consisting of two investigators in
separate vehicles with radio contact. The second investigator is billed
at $35 an hour, rather than double the hourly rate or package rate for
each day. It is imperative that you inform us of the circumstances
involving these types of surveillances before we begin the
investigation for the surveillance to be successful.
